What Drove the Sugar Trade DBQ Final Project
1. Select at least 4 sources that you will be using to reference in answering the question; “What drove the sugar trade?”
2. Complete the Document Analysis (front/back) to prepare you to effectively evaluate the sources you will be using to help you complete your final assignment.
3. Decide from the below choice list which culminating assignment you will be doing:

b. Art Mural: Create a work of art that moves to answer the guiding question above. This piece must use at least 4 documents to help drive its creation and be in the form of a mural (see examples of murals) Include ARTIST’S STATEMENT (paragraph or 2 explaining your mural).
c. Slave Trade Debate Legal Brief: Similar to Supreme Court judges, create a Legal Brief which discusses the arguments FOR and AGAINST the British slave trade at the time based on the documents that you analyzed. (1 page)
d. Song - Rap - Epic Poem: Create a thoughtful song, rap, or epic poem (a poem that tells a story and is at least 1 page long) based on the sugar trade and references your 4 sources
4. Create a Bibliography of the sources that you used similar to the Pirate Bio
